One of the joys of making music is the opportunity to make it with friends and people you admire. I've had the privilege of working with some of the most talented people – who also happen to be some of my favorite people, which not only makes the experience better, but, in my opinion, the final result as well. One of those people is John (a.k.a Johnny Mac) McConel. A musican, songwriter, singer and friend. I've known John for over twenty years. We met during a show he was acting in that I had done sound design for. We hit it off instantly. I had no idea what kind of friendship would form between us, but the friendship that did form is one of my favorites. On top of that (which would be enough), our musical styles and tastes blend beautifully and it has led to a number of collaborations that are some of my favorites as well. 

I've been fortunate to make as much music as I have with John over the years, and in many different capacities... from producer & engineer to contributing musician – which sometimes meant just laying down drum tracks (which may have been the most fun of all).

Except for a few guitar parts here and there, Johnny is playing everything but drums on these tracks unless otherwise noted.
